PRESS RELEASE
11th day of September 2019
The Vice President/West Africa of the All Africa Students' Union (AASU) wish to condemn the unjustifiable killings of African Nationals in South Africa and outrightly recommend sanctions against the Republic of South Africa Students by the Executive Committee of AASU.
Distinguished members of the Press, students across the African continent, fighters in the people’s liberation struggle, our fellow Africans struggling for life in South Africa, cadres and militants, conscious comrades, we bring you greetings from the ALL AFRICA STUDENT UNION (AASU)
As part of our revolutionary mandate as a radical and Pan African students’ movement representing the dreams and aspiration of the African students on the continent, we want to categorically condemn the barbaric Xenophobic killings of our African brothers on the soil of South Africa. We believed that such a brutality and cruelty meted against our black brothers contravenes the essence of the Pan African struggle and African Unity against those very neo-colonial imperialist forces that held down the development of our continent.
The unabating burning and mindless looting of fellow African businesses and properties by the South Africans is bizarre and inhumane and must be rebuked by all and sundry on the African continent.
Unbelievably, in the midst and faces of former slave masters currently in South Africa, treating fellow Africans in such a demeaning manner and form without any remorse placed citizens of South Africa on the dark edges of history, thereby discrediting every revolutionary credentials bestowed upon their struggle for apartheid.
RECOMMENDATIONS
As Vice President for WEST AFRICA/AASU, without fear and favor, I do hereby recommend to the Executive Committee of AASU that the following are hereby recommended as sanctions:
That the SOUTH AFRICA STUDENTS ASSOCIAION BE SUSPENDED FROM THE ALL AFRICA STUDENT UNION FOR TIME INDEFINITE.
THAT NO SOUTH AFRICAN STUDENT PARTAKE IN ANY OF AASU’S ACTIVITY pending the return of normalcy in South Africa.
THAT THE AASU DECLARE SOUTH AFRICA AS A DARK ZONE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS.
THAT THE AASU DECLARE THE CURENT PRESIDENT OF SOUTH AFRICA, PRESIDENT CYRILL RAMAPOSA AS A REACTIONARY CAPITALIST AND SHALL NEVER be recognised by AASU for such a time that Xenophobic attack on Africans remain.
The office of the Vice President for West Africa of AASU wishes to also remind the masses of our people on the continent that during the Apartheid struggle, we knew how South Africans were banished from their own soil into exile and were welcomed by other African nationals in various countries with provision of shelter, food, education and scholarships and sustainable means of livelihood in peace and harmony.
Several millions of dollars were mobilized by Africans all over the world to help the South Africans during their struggle.
How come today these same South Africans have forgotten all of those sacrifices?
Have they forgotten so soon that it was the conglomeration of courageous, fearless and conscious black brothers across the African landscape who stood by them and shouted to the high heavens during the reign of terror in South Africa?
From the inception of this provocative attacks, there have been rumors or allegations hovering around that those blacks undergoing such barbarity were drug dealers/peddlers. However, uncoordinated statements emanating from the South African authorities proved ironical to the facts available.
But again, let’s agree for the sake of argument that these blacks were drug dealers, why didn’t the South African Authorities amicably deal with such a situation within the ambit of the law instead of allowing heartless south African resort to mass killings and molestation?
Nigeria:
It is documented in the annals of human history that the blood and sweat of Nigerian soldiers are saturated in the lifespan of many African nations. Where there are chaos, hunger, war and diseases, the government and people of Nigeria has always been there for its counterparts on all fronts, ensuring peace and tranquility on the continent.
Dedicated men and women from Nigeria have sacrificed and died in helping other Africa nations during troubling times. We, too, must treat them as humans, with respect and dignity. We should work together as one people on a united front with one goal and purpose.
As Vice President of the all Africa Student Union for West Africa, I stand in solidarity with the government and good people of Nigeria and hereby support all actions by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) which is the umbrella organization for all students of Nigeria home and in Diaspora unarguably the largest body of students on the continent of Africa.
Comr. Danielson Akpan, the President of NANS who has led this continental struggle is no doubt a global hero, and we all commend his doggedness in championing this struggle.
NANS having played a pivotal role in the pursuit of peaceful co-existence amongst Africans deserves our solidarity and as such we see the attack on Nigerian citizens as barbaric and must at all times be condemning Xenophobia in the strongest possible term.
It’s frustrating as one of the largest continent in the world that we are still divided at this time. We should be sober and reflect on struggles for independence of Africa a d the underdevelopment that colonialism did to our continent and people.
As a mass based revolutionary movement in Africa, we see Xenophobic action as contrary to the teaching of our African doctrine that spoke about African Unity. Never must we bow down to the teaching and understanding of the West that have inflicted and continue to inflict western casualty on our fellow Africans. As Vice President of this union in West Africa, we must remember the teaching of our African leaders who have fought so hard for unity of all African to live in harmony.
SOUTH AFRICA/ ANC
For South Africans, under the government of the ANC, to seeing other Africans gruesomely murdered especially Nigerians, it means that the gods must be mad. Such an anti Pan Africanist action is monumentally enough to place the ANC in the fifth quadrant of a high quo reactionary cult. Had the ANC- South African government really intended to curb such a barbaric act, it would have carried out a thorough arrest and prosecute those caught in such an unholy act so as to serve as a deterrence or caveat to those ingrates carrying on such an act. But when the wholesale looting and burning down of other blacks’ businesses and properties started initially, the very ANC regime gave it a blind eye. The Nigerian government then reach out to the South African government diplomatically so as to put an end to such barbarism but again, the South African never give the diplomatic process a fair play.
By this narcissist action, by a group of people who were once victim of brutality and barbarism, clearly positioned them into their aggressors and posture of their slave’s masters. As the entire black race and the whole of Africa struggled against their oppression yesterday and fight for their liberation, the entire human kind must resist and struggle against their actions today while currently acting like cannibals and oppressors.
Conclusively, we want to extent our revolutionary salutations to comrade CIC Julius Malenma for his uncompromising and fiery condemnations and agitations against the brutal killings of Nigerians and other foreign nationals. We thank all other nationals for their stance against this barbarism. We resoundingly call on SADAC to take a firm decision in order to rescue the macabre of killings in South Africa especially foreign nationals.

Booker Washington Institute (BWI) taken to task for sending nearly dozen 11th graders to write ongoing WASSCE; the institution says the action met the approval of the Ministry of Education, but the ministry denies
Report from Margibi County says senior students of the Booker Washington Institute have accused the administration of registering ten students of the 11th grade class to write the WASSCE Exams.
Many senior students of BWI who spoke to reporters expressed dissatisfactions over the institution’s reported decision to register ten of the 11th graders to write the ongoing WASSCE Exams.
When contacted, the public relations officer of BWI, Sam Sumo Barber confirmed the information, and said, it was the institution’s decision which was agreed upon during one of its recent meetings.
According to Sam Berber, the registration of the ten 11th graders is part of a pilot project initiated by the Booker Washington Institute, aimed at promoting students with exceptional academic performances.
He also stated that BWI administration communicated its decision to the Ministry of Education in the County.
Meanwhile, Margibi County Education System has frowned at the action of the Booker Washington Institute to register 11 graders for the WASSCE Examinations.
Margibi County Acting Education Officer James Gaye further denied being informed about any communication from the BWI administration to register 11 graders for the WASSCE Exams.
OK FM Correspondent Emmanuel Sensee quotes Educational Authorities in the County as saying a prompt investigation will be carried out to establish facts behind the institute’s decision, and if established, drastic actions would be taken.
Sensee described as a dramatic scene on BWI’s campus on Wednesday, when senior students, including other residents were publicly expressing dismay over the action of the BWI administration to register 11th graders for the WASSCE Exams.

Press Statement
Ladies and gentlemen of the press:
We bring you greetings with high esteem and honor, and also want to acknowledge the fact that the media has tremendously played a pivotal role in protecting and advancing our emerging democracy.
As the operation to get rid of criminal elements from the ranks and file of LINSU intensifies, those who have been affected by the wind of change will fight in all confuse ways, but this will gain no adhesive friction as the forces of good are well-situated and positioned to triumph over the evil villain forces who have brought to backwardness the progress of the institution, thus bringing it to the lowest ebb of ridicule and public disdain.
Our struggle has been made easier because those marauding carpetbaggers in Abraham M. Johnson, Matthias Yeanay, Emmanuel N. B. Flomo and Charles Nagbe have yet to understand the potency of the people in need of transformation. Up to now, the fellows cannot understand how they were deposed by angry students who are keen on returning the institution to its original creed.
When those who thought they could build their privileges and wealth at the expense of the students were in power, they forgot to understand that a group so conscious can never allow itself to be bullied by racketeer-ruffians and debased yahoos and yokels. Those visible lapses who gatecrashed in the student movement are yet to comprehend how they were rooted out of LINSU.
To the surprise of the four suspended officials for time indefinite, the students who have the powers to correct the excesses in LINSU are uncompromising in their quest to delete them from the annals of history of the union. The student saddled by the manacle of corruption and the shackle of despair understand that they have a duty to restore LINSU to the height of progress. They relish the day when LINSU will not be in the news for all the negatives things; they relish the day when students from across our country can sit, stand and say well done LINSU.
While members of the National Administrative Council are keen on achieving such end, the disgraced and academically deficient character in Abraham M. Johnson took to the media to spew out outright rubbish, verbiage and nonsensical words against individual whose reputations in the affairs of the state are pure, exemplary and impeccable. Little Abraham M. Johnson, still nursing the wounds of the defeat he suffered in Saniquellie at the LINSU’s NAC Meeting, believed that by purveying lies against Dr. H. Boima Fahnbulleh Jr. and Director Abraham S. Kromah will win sympathy for him in the public sphere.
In his misfiring rant and poor showing, the tabula rasa Abraham Johnson refuses to inform the people of Liberia on how he did not only abscond and embezzled $ 19,000 USD meant for the operation of LINSU. He also glossed over the fact that quite recently he mismanaged $7,500 USD intended to pay the staff of LINSU. The wishy-washy echo chamber refused to inform the public on how he is a career university dropout purporting on his Facebook profile as a student of the Lewis Arthur Grimes School of Law and how he is surviving in the society due to the spoils system.
We want to firmly state here that in no time did either Colonel Kromah or Dr. Fanhbulleh ever interfered or contributed to the impasse currently at the National Students Movement as was asserted by a career hoodlum who has no determination to positively contribute to national students leadership, but is rather obsessed with looting resources meant to advance students’ activities in the country.
Colonel Kromah has since been playing the role of restoring order and suggesting pro-rule of law remedies to the LINSU’s stalemate in an attempt to protect national security which is part of his statutory mandate as Deputy for Operation of the Liberia National Police. All and sundry are quite cognizant of the revolutionary role played by Dr. H. Boima Fahnbulleh, Jr. in building the consciousness of students in the political history of Liberia. This patriot par excellence has been in the vanguard making sure that students possess ideas and precepts that have the possibilities of transforming society. HB will in no way support uncertainty among a genre of young people he has spent so much time transforming into national conscious leaders.
The statement coming from a chap who invaded his way to students’ leadership is a cunning attempt to dissuade the public’s attention from the popular decision that was taken by the National Administrative Council of LINSU in Sanniqulle, Nimba County, to suspend for time indefinite four (4) National Executive Committee members including Mr. Abraham M. Johnson. We urge the general public not to take this apostle of disorder seriously.
Abraham M. Johnson, an automatic regeneration of grammatical errors, as he is being referred to in the All Africa Students Union’s Watsapp chat room, should do the public justice by expanding on how he has been dispossessed for time indefinite of the Secretary General position of LINSU for absconding with 19,000.00USD meant for LINSU’s Liberia Universities Debate Championship.
Mr. Johnson, this chap who drinks alcohol more than he drinks water, should be honest enough to explain to the students’ populace that he was suspended until further notice by NAC as the results of him conniving with three other Executive Committee members in squandering 7,500.00 USD meant to pay LINSU’s staffs and take care of the one year office rental.
This individual called Abraham M. Johnson who finds pleasure in satisfying his personal ego at the expense of the greatest number of people should tell struggling students that he was suspended for time indefinite because he bequeathed upon himself the responsibility of the National Administrative Council to appoint an acting president when the president is incapacitated to perform the duties and functions of the presidency of LINSU, instead of taking the airwave to spew arrogance and innuendos against men of distinct characters.
We remain committed to upholding the sanctity of the Students Movement and pushing its agenda to the core. No amount of noise from these bandits can district us from doing the students work.

Press Statement for immediate release:
MONSU CALLED ON THE MINISTRY OF YOUTH & SPORT TO WORK WITH THE NAC MEMBERS TO HAVE NATIONAL ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL MEETING.
Fast thinking comrades, Members of the 21-st Century, Members of the fourth Estate, Fellow Students, conscious youths, uncompromising revolutionaries for tranquility and democracy, distinguish Ladies and Gentlemen.
We bring you revolutionary greetings from the largest mass-based student’s movement of Montserrado, The Montserrado County Students Union.
Today we speak to you on issues confronting our mother institution, The Liberia National Students Union. For past times, we have sat and listened to claims and counter claims of our comrades spewing all kinds of non-sequential diatribes and harangues insinuation. Our attention has been recently drawn from the current saga that's embedded within LINSU. We want to firstly begin by thanking the staffers of LINSU who on 30 December 2016 handed over the national students movement to the director of the operation of the Liberia National Police (LNP) Col.Abraham Kromah.
Currently a hullabaloo is between the staffers of LINSU and its executive who has not been paid for over 6months and a recent cheque of seven thousand five hundred United State Dollar (USD) 7,500 that was given to the executive committee of LINSU for the running of it offices, paying staffers, NAC meeting and office rent payment ,
but astonishingly these executives ate the money, they include 1. Matthias Yeanay- Vice President for national affairs. 2. Emmanuel N. B Flomo-Vice President for international affairs . 3. Abraham Johnson -Secretary General and 4.Charles Nagbe-Financial Secretary but the balance three executives distinguish themselves from this wretched acts and condemn the action of their colleagues.
The Montserrado County Students Union want to make this emphatically and assertively clear that we condemn the act of embezzling the institution fund and stand with the National Administrative Council which is the highest decision-making body in the absence of Congress. According to the constitution of LINSU article VI 2.2. POWERS AND FUNCTIONS: The following shall be the powers and functions of the National Administrative Council which Shall be the second highest body in LINSU: Review the work of the National Executive Committee; Scrutinize and make decisions on all admissions of new members into LINSU; Review and scrutinize all submissions for the constitutional amazements for delivery to congress, for congress’s adoption; Approve the appointment of all National Committees whose tenure is excepted to be for a period of one year or more; Institute impeachment proceeding against any members of the National Executive Committee who may be found to act contrary to the constitution of LINSU.
And the policies adopted at LINSU congress and shall have the same official suspended from office by a two- thirds majority of the National Administrative Council members present until the next congress which shall remove such an official from office with a simple majority vote; Make all other policy decisions not covered by the constitution and not adopted by the congress, being mindful that such decisions shall not contravene the constitution. On the Dec 26th, 2016 members of the Counties’ Council hosted a conference call meeting and came up with the following decisions:
1. That every member of the National Administrative Council should converge in one of the counties to discuss the unfolding issues. 2. That a letter of inquiry is written to staffers of LINSU and await a quick respond because we don’t trust the current executive committee members of LINSU in the absent of Varney Alieu Jarsey.
3. That we should place a call to Youth and Sports Minister Saah Charles N'ton schedule meeting with him to discuss the illegitimacy saga surrounding the institution and how it can be resolved. To decisively conclude, we want to encourage your ministry to work with us (National Administrative Council ) to take our institution to a higher height. Long live the Montserrado County Students Union, long live the students of Liberia and long live the Republic of Liberia.
Done and issue on this 6th day of January A.D 2017 by the secretariat bureau of Monsu.

PRESS STATEMENT
Response to Mohammed Donzo’s Lies
My fellow students of Montserrado county, Distinguish officials of the National Executive Committee members of the press:
A renegade, pay agent and lair Called - Mohammed Donzo purporting as President of the Montserrado County Student Union. His lies are serious in assassinating the integrity of the institution.
We could afford to leave him in his chronic limitation as we don’t want him feel important but can’t, because failure to respond to this nonsense, will allow many uninformed citizens believe his many falsehoods under the umbrella of student’s leadership. It becomes the sacred revolutionary duty of men of conscience and honesty to cease the moment and rise to the occasion in sending the fifth columnist and flunky Mohammed Donzo back to the corner he actually belongs.
Sometimes we wonder whether this chap really has integrity to judge someone of corruption, this echo-chamber in his desperate quest for relevance, wherein he deceived the sons and daughters of the people that he was conventionally driven but behind the scene received $ 900 USD from some political actors to stage a protest against the educational reform policy of George Werner not known to the students.
Over the year Donzo has been used as a groveling pay agent, that recently Mohammed Donzo after hearing about the quizzing money came begging to be accepted back into the leadership of MONSU. As they say “a leader must be a good judge of human character” Cde. Jarsey realized that the man was only aiming at money not basically on humbly appealing, and as such he was told to go and dialogue with the current president Cde. George Kesselly. It will interest you to know that all the Political renegades had to tell Mr. Kesselly was that he should take any percentage from the money and give him (DONZO) the remaining to run the tournament! Interestingly, George conscious of his plans refused and said that he couldn’t engage in anything of such that will hunt him tomorrow. The element got bitter and angry, insulted George and left.
Very recently we saw the power hunter (Mohammed Donzo) with three (3) Executive of LINSU; Mathias Yeaney, Emmanuel Flomo and Abraham Johnson after receiving the 19,000USD check and Donzo says the three Executive promise to give him and his echo-chamber Kollie More and T. Sampson York 300,000LD, for them to suspend Mr. Varney Jarsey President of LINSU, but only received 150,000LD the balance was not given to them. And as we speak the pay agent Donzo had squandered the money without given his echo-chamber some and his suspended vice President is about to resigned because of the money.
As we speak few days ago the president of Nimba county student union and Montserrado county student union; Cde; Abigal B. L. Freeman and Cde. George M. Kesselly, went to meet the Deputy Minister for youth Development, Hon. Lance Gbagonyon about LINSU NAC meeting we saw Donzo begging the Minister in his office for School fee and it is proving that Minister Gbagonyon didn’t give him school fee he is now going against the Minister as he did to president Varney Jarsey went Mr. Jarsey didn’t allow him come back to MONSU leadership,
In our response, we will not dwell the statement’s reference to recordings involving the Deputy Minister for Youth Development at the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MYS) and Mathias Yeaney, Emmanuel Flomo, and Abraham Johnson of the Liberia National Students Union in acts of corruption over 19, 000 United States Dollars. During the internal struggle within the LINSU National Executive Committee, we warned the leaders on the other side that these suspended renegades headed by Mohammed Donzo should be excluded from the controversy as they were seeking their personal opportunistic end; unfortunately, we were not listened to and these reactionaries were collaborated with to spew invectives at LINSU President, Varney Alieu Jarsey. Our concern, therefore, will be focused on areas we think it necessary to comment on.
The public must firstly be provided the truth of these guys suspension so as to dismiss their claims of being the legitimate leadership of the Montserrado County Students Union (MONSU). Due to Donzo and his team of renegades’ and hasty, opportunistic and CDC induced venture to condemn the Educational Reform Policy and put students’ lives at risk in a protest against the wise decision of the National Executive Committee which pointed out the eminent risk involved and the need to welcome the reform with recommendations to wherever it needed recommendations, the National Executive Committee, given the state of things as it function had been undermined and credibility questioned, suspended them with the backing of the National Administrative Council (NAC). Since then, these elements have been hovering and claiming onto positions which they had been suspended of. You journalist here can bear witness this.
Comrades, veteran militant let’s clearly look at some of the deals of this renegades. He was the same person who stole 10,000.00LD that was intended for the first winner in the Montserrado county student union quizzing tournament, it was this same Donzo that stole the quizzing belt and the trophy. He is a criminal and is notice for putting gangster behind him to mislead the public with his self interest in the name of the Montserrado county student union.
Finally, the statement by Mohammed Donzo is not the official voice of the Montserrado County Student Union as Donzo has been suspended for time indefinite and he is a renegades.
The current president is Cde. George M. Kesselly! We therefore disassociate ourselves from any such assertions that has the proclivity of blackmailing people as he is doing.
