Today, November 21, 2025, was a day filled with learning and exploration as our students from the Gibraltar Islamic Foundation visited the Centinial Pavilion, Executive Pavilion, and the National Museum of Liberia. As history and social studies instructor, I was thrilled to take a group of passionate students on this educational trip. Our first stop was the Centinial Pavilion located on Ashmun Street, Monrovia.

Today, as history and social studies instructor at the Gibraltar Islamic Foundation, I had the opportunity to take with me a few passionate students to the Centinial Pavilion located Ashmun Street, Monrovia. I took them there to explore and learn some historical facts about Liberia including the achievements and administrations of past Liberian presidents. We were welcomed and oriented by one of the maintenance of the area. We also took a tour around the premises and saw the grave of President William V.S Tubman who served from January 3, 1944 to his death on July 23, 1971. We saw the vehicle that was used by ex president William R. Tolbert, Charles G. Taylor and Samuel K. Doe.

After spending a few hours at the Centinial Pavilion, we headed to the Executive Pavilion, where we gained insight into the country's executive history. The students were fascinated by the displays and artifacts showcasing the country's governance and leadership evolution. We learned about the roles of various presidents and their contributions to Liberia's development.

Our final destination was the National Museum of Liberia, which provided a comprehensive overview of the country's history, culture, and people. The students were captivated by the exhibits featuring traditional masks, artifacts, and historical relics. The museum offered a unique opportunity for the students to connect with Liberia's rich heritage.

The trip was a huge success, and the students returned with newfound knowledge and appreciation for Liberia's history and cultural heritage. It was a valuable experience that will undoubtedly shape their perspectives and inspire them to become active contributors to the country's development.

Teachers' Refresher workshop 2025/2026.

The Administration Gibraltar Islamic Foundation Elem. and Jr. High school is pleased to inform the general public that registration is now in progress for academic year 2025/2026.

Tuition is affordable and is payable in three instalments. At the Gibraltar Islamic Foundation School, we have qualified and competent teaching staff who are always willing and ready to impact our society positively through quality education!

Classes run from 8:00AM to 1:30PM daily.
Study classes also run from 2:00PM to 5:00PM

Please note that there is no excuse for learning. Those who have busy schedules, we can take care of your kids/ children from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. You can now take advantage of this golden opportunity.

The above mentioned institution is pleased to announce the availability of the following vacancy within the institution and invites applications from qualified, committed, and competent individuals;

Available Positions:
• Registrar
• Classroom teachers

✅ Qualifications Required:

🔹 Registrar
• diploma/ BSC candidate in Business / Accounting.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience. Must be reliable, organized and customer-focused

>> Classroom Teachers:
Nursery to kindergarten
Qualifications: "C"/ Certificate in childhood education with at least three years teaching experience in pre-school and kindergarten divisions.

Note: Females are mostly encouraged.

Mathematics teacher

'B' certificate in relevant field
At least three years (3yrs) teaching experience in junior high division.
Student-focused instructions and skilled interactive.
