Today, Girls Education Liberia (GEL) successfully concluded an impactful one-day Capacity Building Training for our dedicated team of volunteers and staff.

The training focused on strengthening our understanding of GEL’s mission, values, organizational structure, roles and responsibilities, communication, professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and resource mobilization. Through engaging discussions and interactive learning, participants gained practical knowledge and renewed commitment to serving our communities with excellence.

We are proud of every participant who invested their time, shared ideas, and demonstrated a passion for advancing girls’ education and empowering young women across Liberia.

A heartfelt thank you to our facilitators, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to making this training a success. Your dedication continues to strengthen our organization and our impact.

Girls Education Liberia (GEL) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Finance Officer to join our volunteer team. If you have an interest in finance, accountability, and community impact, this is your opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while growing your professional experience.

Requirements:

✅ High School Graduate, University Student, or holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

✅ Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial management, or a strong willingness to learn and grow.

✅ Experience working with nonprofit organizations, NGOs, or donor-funded projects is highly desirable.

✅ Demonstrated ability to prepare financial reports and manage multiple funding streams.

✅ Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

✅ High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.

✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
