Political gangsters and their Carter in sports

The Grand Cape Mount County's biggest company, Bea Mountain Mining company is the worst sponsored company against the people of the county. They are heavily supported by political gangsters who are riding luxury cars at Capitol Hill. They created disputes to keep licking the Honey Bunches meant for the people's development Particularly when they are successful in dividing the people on tribal lines. Some officials of our compromised MDA benefit more as the MDA is not amended and those government-recognised operatives are fully aware of the illegal occupancy of Turkish National at the plantation without a Residential Permit or work Permit and smile with them as they perform job tasks spelt out in the Mineral Development Agreement. Our brothers and sisters are just mere contractors while aliens or foreigners get employment with all benefits attached.

Our gangster politicians in Liberia value their countrymen only when their stolen properties or jobs are at risk, thereby giving some of the peanuts in the name of political affiliations or membership to denigrate others' hard-earned deportment. They used said cowardice professionals to market their ignorance to others. They stage attacks against hundreds of enthusiasts or things they are to personally benefit for decades and call it "political struggle " or " party disciplines".

Yet this is what happens when confused and jobless keep supporting leaders against their survival discredit their mindset of professionalism and term them as gangsters, thugs, and Zogoes.

We set up a sports steering committee only to undermine them. Political gangsters are the only faces around companies and financial transactions. They collect millions and deposit thousands to the county teams with their names on all paraphernalia as a symbol of their contribution or support.

They Pocket money intended for excellent results. During the inefficient workings of those committees set by them, they shift the blame on the organizers or colleges against their criminal Carter. Never mind that their actions are today sparkling massive rioting in counties or cities in Liberia. All politicians are gangsters but not all gangsters a politicians. Gangsters are members of a violent criminal group or Carter. Politicians built a cartel to control every major decision and money, and if it goes against their will, they insert violent action against the state and its people.

In recent times, we saw how the people of Grand Cape Mount, Grand Bassa, Nimba, Bomi, Since, River Cess, B**g and many counties were badly treated. Their lands were being used to transport millions of dollars worth of minerals but they did not benefit even 6% of their wealth. Aliens and Foreigners are the best occupants of the land. They get huge salaries and benefits, while Liberians are even more schooled than many of them but survive on contracts and little below the Decent Work Act of Liberia.

Imagined, Western Cluster Liberia was stopped from hauling (trucking) their ores recently in January 2024 by the Minister of Public Works Hon. Ruth Coker-Collins with a directive from the Senate Committee of Land, Mines, Energy and Environment. This Multimillions company is an embarrassment in the Western Region precisely Bomi County. They were stopped because of not living up to the Mineral Development Agreement. Before they started operations in Liberia, it was agreed that they rebuild the railroad from Bomi to the National Port Authority of Liberia, where their iron ores mined would be directly transported for export. However, because of some gangster politicians connected and being misled to use our narrow corridor of roads, money intended for the rebuilding of the railroads was pocketed and trucks using our roads began to damage it beyond. After a while, the Management of Western Cluster Liberia committed itself to the Liberia Senate Committee on Mines, Energy & Environment through written communication. In early December 2023, they committed to beginning works toward the alpha pavement of the TBurg-Lofa Bridge to Kongo, Mano River Kongo.

With the above developments, Senator Simeon Boima Taylor wrote to former Minister Coker-Collins requesting to authorize Western Cluster Liberia Limited to resume operations as they look up to its Management to live up to its own words. Up to current, they haven't been able to live up to their commitments because of political maneuvering and their agenda of exploiting the Liberian economy and its people.

Today, we have our National Counties Sports Meet, where it's 80% regulated by political gangsters and their mindset of profiteering. They set up incompetent social birds to manage county teams. And because of their incapabilities to fully mobilize resources and to source skilful and energetic players within each county, many times they got remote control by those gangsters politicians to give us unimaginable results.

Today, the county league sponsorship emanates from different sources but their steering committees are unable to secure them and to showcase the victory of their political pairing squads.

Liberia is a blessed and wealthy country. Imagined, over 19 tons of GOLD annually leaves Liberia to the global market without any financial impacts on our development and the Ministry of Mines and partner entities do nothing about it. Our gangster politicians are the shaders in those deals. Our diamonds, gold and other valuable minerals leave Liberia like a flying bird around. Because of the improper mechanism and poorly monitoring standardization of our Mine Monitors and Inspectors, Liberia lost billions yearly.

With the change in government and the new positioning of jobbers, we hope to see a positive shift in benefits and development.
