Students are naturally curious, and the Science program at Aalem International School provides an inquiry-based approach to help students find scientific ways to answer their questions.

Students from Kindy – Year 6 take part in one specialist Science lesson per week which is conducted by a Science Specialist, usually in our dedicated Science Lab.

Based on the Primary Connections initiative, students engage in real world Science lessons following the 5E’s instructional model - Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate.

Students engage in hands-on experiences and experiments to develop scientific explanations and develop deeper conceptual understandings.

Throughout the year, students also participate in various incursions from organisations such as Scitech, Bunnings, The Worm Farm, and Suez Waste Management to consolidate their learning.

We empower educators to reimagine and redesign learning through impactful pedagogy and meaningful technology use. We achieve this by offering transformative professional learning, fostering vibrant communities, and ensuring that digital tools and experiences are accessible and effective

Our chef instructors know how important it is to keep students inspired even outside of the classroom, so they design an eclectic set of menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that changes on a regular basis. Student dining is available Monday through Friday for both Residential Learning students and commuter students.

As we always want to implement the best classroom layout by fitout, one that will positively impact our students' well-being and concentration, we considered a design that offers natural light along with proper ventilation through the classroom. We understood that. well-ventilated classrooms can contribute to a more refreshing and comfortable learning environment, especially when students spend a lot of time in the same space as one another.

We are thrilled to announce that Aalem International School has been officially awarded the Global School Aliance membership certificate in July 2024. This prestigious recognition underlines our unwavering commitment to quality education and global citizenship.
