BTHS CALLS FOR APPLICATION FROM INTERESTED AND QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS

Blyden Technical High School (BTHS) is a newly established junior and senior high school located in Duazon (RIA Highway), Lower Margibi County. BTHS is named after the late Edward Wilmot Blyden, a Liberian educator, journalist, historian, statesman and politician. BTHS is a STEM (Science and computer labs) and TVET (Electricity, Refrigeration, Auto Electricity and Plumbing) focus School.

For the 2021/ 2022 Academic Year, we wish to accept applications from qualified individuals in the following areas:
1. JUNIOR HIGH
A. General Mathematics
B. General Science + Lab
C. English & Literature
D. Social Studies

2. SENIOR HIGH
A. Mathematics (Algebra & Geometry)
B. Economics
C. Geography & History
D. Literature & English
E. Physics + Lab
F. Chemistry + Lab
G. Biology + Lab

3. ALL LEVELS ( GRADE 7 TO 12)
A. Computer Education
B. Arts & PE

4. QUALIFICATIONS & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIAS
A. Senior high applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education or its equivalent and an A- Certificate from a recognised teacher training institute with atleast 5 years in the teaching filed. A knowledge of Laboratory operation and teaching is a major requirement for teachers applying for science courses ( Biology, Physics and Chemistry).

B. Junior High applicants must have a minimum of an Associate Degree from a recognised teacher training institute and a B- Certificate from the authority established under the Liberia Education Reform Act 2011 that is empowered to issue Teachers' Certificates with atleast five years of experience in the teaching field.

Additional requirements:

5. Willing to give back to country

All applications are to be submitted on or before the 31st day of August 2021 only in hard copies at our campus in Duazon, Lower Margibi between the hours of 9:30 A.M. and 1:30 P.M.

Female applicants are given first preference as only short listed candidates will be contacted for interview and possible job placement.

Registration is ongoing at the school's campus. Information booklets are out for LD$300.00.

Blyden Technical High School is named after the late Edward Wilmot Blyden, a Liberian educator, journalist, historian, statesman and politician. BTHS is a STEM (Science and computer labs) and TVET (Electricity, Refrigeration, Auto Electricity and Pipe-Fitting) focus School.
Blyden Technical High School wishes to announce her first round of entrance exams for Grade 7 to Grade 10. Grade 7 to Grade 9 candidates will be tested in Math and English, whereas, Grade 10 candidates will be tested in Math, English and General Knowledge.

Entrance registration is in progress on the school's campus (formerly Kingdom Care Academy big campus). Entrance fee is LD$500.00. All candidates are to come along with pens, pencils, erasers and sharpeners. Absolutely, no candidate will be allowed to borrow during the exams. Absolutely, no calculator and/or mobile phone will be allowed in the examination hall.
