Destiny Girls is an organization that uses kickball as a means of furthering girls education in the greater Kakata area. The girls group gets together during the weekend to improve their kickball skills and learn new concepts about girls empowerment and continuing education. Through the skills developed on the kickball field, a number of these girls, who otherwise would not have the funding for school fees, have been accepted at local high schools as players on the kickball team. In addition to what they can offer on the kickball field, the girls are able to further their education in the classroom. To date, more than $4,000 in school fees have been paid directly by Destiny Girls, which has funded the high school education for 60 girls.

The mission of Destiny Girls does not end with high school. We believe in the power of education and the benefits associated with a college degree. As such, Destiny Girls is currently funding the four year tuition of five young women attending African Methodist University in Liberia. There are a number of other girls from the program who have recently graduated high school and passed their college entrance exam, yet do not currently have the funds to enroll in University. This is where we can use your help. Please send a message to this page to get more information about how to donate to Destiny Girls. At the moment, 100% of donations will be used to fund the tuition of our girls who have already passed the college entrance exam. Future donations will go towards expanding the reach of Destiny Girls and including more girls in the program.

I hope to establish a Girls Club around Liberia to motivate girls to learn more about being functional members of society, which I hope will lead to them becoming good leaders in the future
