FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, father, and family member, Alaka N. Zogbaye.
Alaka sadly passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026, following a tragic motor vehicle accident along the Gbarnga–Gbatala Highway in Gbarnga, B**g County.
His remains have been deposited at St. Moses Funeral Home in Gbarnga, B**g County.
Alaka was a graduate of Cuttington University, where he earned a degree in Education, with an emphasis in Chemistry. He dedicated himself to the education of young people and served as a teacher at Dorothy Cooper High School and William V. S. Tubman High School in Gbarnga.
At the time of his passing, Alaka had enrolled at Cuttington Graduate School and was preparing to begin his graduate studies. His untimely passing has left a profound void in the lives of his family, students, colleagues, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS
1. Silent Wake: Friday, September 11, 2026.
2. Removal of Remains: Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 7:00 a.m. from St. Moses Funeral Home.
3. Funeral Service: 9:00 a.m. at his parents’ residence in Chief Compound, Gbarnga.
4. Burial: Burial will follow in his hometown of Garr, a town located shortly after Zowienta at 12 noon.
As we mourn the painful loss of our beloved Alaka, we ask family, friends, colleagues, former students, and well-wishers to kindly keep the bereaved family in your prayers and stand with us as we journey through this difficult and heartbreaking time.
