The FALCONS CLASS 1998-2002

The name FALCONS is more than an identity it is a statement of values: Faith, Action, Love, Courage, Obedience, News, and Sacrifice. Like the magnificent bird, we soar high, undeterred by challenges, relentless in our pursuit of excellence.

Officially formed in 1998 under the founding leadership of Prince Nanlee Johnson, the class grew into a vibrant community of scholars and leaders that graduated in June 2002. That year, the FALCONS left an indelible mark on Lott Carey Mission School, with Dr. Charles Asumana emerging as the top performer of the National WAEC Exams, a testament to our pillars of excellence.

The FALCONS Class carries with it cherished memories and solemn respect for our brothers and sister who have predeceased us: Olu W. A. Barbar, Dr. Presley K. Wesseh Jr., J. Moses Juah, Massa M. Kiadii, Telo E. Davis, and Barcus Juludoe. Their lives and contributions remain etched in our collective story. In silence, we honor them, knowing that our journey forward is guided by the paths they helped shape.

The FALCONS Class has produced some of Liberia’s finest professionals, spanning diverse fields such as energy, engineering, finance, diplomacy, education, religion, business, construction, IT, social work, and security.

Today, under the leadership of the Dr. Mahmoud Solomon, the Falcons class has transitioned into “FALCONS Conglomerate” with many affiliate members. The class includes:

The Academic Strugglers’ Class

The Academic Strugglers’ Class is a distinguished cohort that began its journey in the seventh grade (1996–2001) at the Lott Carey Mission School in Brewerville, Montserrado County, Liberia.

Despite its modest name, the class quickly defied expectations, building a legacy of academic excellence and spirited competition. Over the years, it earned recognition as the Best Academic Class for three consecutive years (1999, 2000, and 2001) an honor awarded by the prestigious Academic Placement and Evaluation Committee (APEC).
The class’s consistent performance became a benchmark within the school, setting a high standard for others to follow. Its success was fueled by a culture of healthy rivalry, where members continuously challenged one another to achieve more. This competitive spirit became not only a defining trait but also a catalyst for both individual and collective excellence.
