Arethusa College - Colombo 06

The World U17-U21 Men’s & U21 Women’s Snooker Championships, World Masters, and 6-Red Men’s Snooker Championships organized by the international billiards and snooker federation will be held from 13th to 24th July 2025 in , the capital of the Kingdom of .

Representing Sri Lanka in this prestigious tournament is Thusitha Chandana(O/L Batch 1990), a proud alumnus of Arethusa College - Colombo 06 He will depart for on 11th July to join fellow champion Susantha Botheju in the competition.

If you would like to support Thusitha financially for this tournament, you may contact him directly at +94 77 366 9680. As of now, there is no financial support provided by the Sri Lankan government or Ministry of Sports for this event.

As fellow Arathusians, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Thusitha Chandana and Susantha Botheju and wish them the very best as they carry Sri Lanka’s name onto the world stage.

ජාත්‍යන්තර BILLIARDS සහ SNOOKER සම්මේලනය විසින් සංවිධානය කරනු ලබන, world U17 - U21 පිරිමි සහ U21 කාන්තා Snooker ශූරතා World Masters සහ 6-Red Men Snooker ශූරතා තරගාවලිය මෙවර 2025 ජූලි 13 සිට 24 දක්වා – බහරේන් රාජධානියේ, මනමා අගනුවරදී පැවැත්වේ.

මෙම තරගාවලිය සඳහා ශ්‍රී ලංකාව නියෝජනය කරමින් අප විදුහලේ ආදී සිසු තුසිත චන්දන (1990 O/L Batch) සහබාගි වන අතර ඔහු සමග තවත් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ Snooker ශුරයකු වන සුසන්ත බොතේජුද සහබාගි වීමට මෙමස 11 වන දින මනමා අගනුවර බලා පිටත් වීමට බලපොරෝතුවෙන් පසුවේ.

ඉහත තරගාවලිය සඳහා තුසිතතට මුල්‍යමය දායකත්වයක් දැක්විය හැකි අයවළුන් වෙතොත්, මෙම දුරකථන අංකය (+94 77 366 9680) ඔස්සේ තුසිත චන්දන ඔබට සම්බන්ද කරගත හැකිය. ඔහු එවැනි දායකත්වයක් බලාපොරොත්තු වන්නේ මෙවන් තරඟාවලියක් සඳහා දැනට ශ්‍රී ලංකා රජයෙන් හෝ ක්‍රීඩා අමාත්‍යංශයෙන් මුදල් වෙනකොට\නොමැති හෙයිනි.

අප ආදී ඇරතියුසා වන් ලෙස තුසිත චන්දනට හා සුසන්ත බොතේජුට අපගේ උණුසුම් සුබපැතුම් එක් කර සිටිමු.ඔවුන් දෙපලට ශ්‍රී ලංකා නාමය ලෝකයා ඉදියෙහි ඔසවා තැබීමට හැකි වේවායි ප්‍රාර්ථනා කර සිටිමු.

අප විද්‍යාලයෙහි දීර්ඝ කාලයක් සේවය කල ලසුන්දා සමරසේකර ගුරුමහත්මිය අභාවප්‍රාප්ත වී ඇත. දේහය අද දින දහවලේ සිට ජයරත්න මල් ශාලාවෙහි තැන්පත්කර තබන බවද, අවසන් කටයුතු හෙට 29.02.2024 දින කළුබෝවිල සුසාන භූමියේ ප.ව.5ට සිදුකිරීමට සියළු කටයුතු සුදානම් කර ඇති බව දන්වා සිටිමි.
