Greetings!

We would like to announce that Foundation level will be replacing the KG1-4 levels. There will be one-year duration for KG1-4 levels, whereas the Foundation level only takes 4 months. This is definitely much faster in terms of duration when compared to the KG levels.

The formulas for the KG Level are Big Friends (10) and Small Friends (5) whereas the Foundation level does not require any formula.

Also, KG levels tend to focus more on workbook exercise, whereas the Foundation level emphasizes the need for more classroom activities like abacus beads recognition and number recognitions.

There are a total of 12 levels for KG 1-4 whereas there are only 11 levels for Foundation.

Witness the Magic!

UCMAS is not just about innovative learning. There’s also a more fun side of our class. The Magic Bar is used as an extra exercise that also assists in the development of our learners’ mind.

Our Course Instructors will arrange these Magic bars and ask the learners to perform mental arithmetic calculations. The answers, no matter how long or complex, would be precisely printed at the back of the last number in the equation.

This fun method helps to build the love for mental arithmetic in children and gives them the determination to find out how the Magic Bar works.

It was truly an auspicious moment for UCMAS with the celebration of the UCMAS International Grading Examination Recognition & Graduation Ceremony 2014, held on the 27th of April.
We would like to express our sincere thanks and heartfelt gratitude to Yang Berhormat P. Kamalanathan P. Panchanathan, Malaysia's Deputy Minister of Education II for taking his invaluable time from his busy schedule to officiate the momentous event.
