Our school proudly celebrated a joyful and meaningful day filled with growth, commitment, and new beginnings as we conducted the Butterfly Unit Fly-Up Ceremony, Little Friends Pack Enrollment, and the Golden Bar Ceremony on 24th June 2026.

We were honoured by the presence of our Chief Guest, Ms. Taraka Munasinghe,
Division Commissioner of our school, whose guidance and inspiration added great value to the occasion.

St. Lawrence’s Convent, Colombo proudly conducted its 1st Half Karate Grading Test for 2026 recently .

The grading examination was held under the guidance of Sensei Shehan De Silva, Country Head of Kuniba-Ha Sh*toryu Chikubukai International in Sri Lanka and Karate Instructor at St. Lawrence’s Convent.

Heartfelt congratulations to all students who successfully progressed to their next grades. Your dedication, discipline, and perseverance have truly led you to this well-deserved achievement.

⚡ Showed remarkable speed and strength, finishing 4th in the 100 m with an impressive time of 12.9 seconds, narrowly missing the podium yet winning our admiration.

💪 Competed with confidence and resilience, achieving 5th Place in the Triple Jump and advancing to the Semi Finals in the 100 m, reflecting true competitive spirit.

🌈 Demonstrated determination and sportsmanship, securing 9th Place in the Triple Jump and reaching the Semi Finals in the 100 m, a commendable achievement on a national stage.

🎯 Threw with strength and focus in the Javelin Throw, reaching an admirable distance of 26 m, marking a promising journey ahead.

We are delighted to announce that we achieved 2nd Place at the prestigious 'Concert des Écoles' during this year's Fête de la Musique.
​Organized by the Alliance Française de Colombo and the Association of French Teachers, the event provided a wonderful platform to celebrate French language and culture through song.

​We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to Mr. Roshan Peiris for his dedication in training our students.
