Teachers juggle more than anyone sees, give more than anyone realises, and still show up every day. This post is for every teacher in 2025—because if no one else stops to thank you, I will. 👩‍🏫🩵✨

I remember when my book was an absolute nightmare and how I despised looking at it whenever I had to study.

Yet, now I find myself colouring my kids books! 🥲🙈

To put up 4 items for 3 shows, on 2 stages we went through tears of joy and sadness!
With stressful makeup run ins,
Throat infections, head and knee injuries
Students loosing their voices!

It was a bit much, but we got through it by the grace of God🙏🏻

The first show we rushed in with makeup and didn’t have time to say a prayer together and we faced a couple of hiccups!! But before the second show I made sure all of us said a prayer together before my students went on stage. That 7:30pm show brought tears to my eyes! And they were just beautiful on stage! 🥹❤️ From pitching to performance it was Aaaaamazing!

My LAMDA kids tipped the scales with 23 Distinctions and 7 Merits! 🥹✨

Gateway College Negombo was placed 3rd Runners up at the Inter School House cup 2024! ❤️

I’m so proud of my students and the work they put in for their Inter House Drama competition back in February 2024, their determination from day 1 was soaring through the roof.

After their OLs in June, they legit had around a week to prepare for House cup on the 22nd of June and they pulled it off. Yes there were things we learnt, but and I’m beyond elated that they took on of my favourite Wilde plays and turned it into the best performance I’ve ever watched! 🎭✨
