12기 학생 졸업식
12 Batch Students Graduation Ceremony.

드디어 12기 학생이 1월부터 시작하여 6개월의 이론교육, 실습교육, 현장학습을 통하여 졸업식을 거행하였다. 여러 가지 어려운 여건속에서 성실하게 수업에 임한 학생들과 이를 서포트한 강사, 스탭, 본부 및 KOICA, 학부모님께 감사의 말씀을 전한다.
이제 각자 배정받은 호텔에서 6개월간의 인턴 (OJT) 교육을 마치면 국가 자격증 3/4급(NVQ LEVEL 3/4)을 취득하여 명실공히 호텔 분야에서 본인의 역량을 발휘할 것이다. 특히, 스리랑카 문화, 정서상 쉽지 않은 길을 택한 여학생들의 용기에 많은 성원을 보낸다.
졸업으로 끝난 것이 아니므로 우리학교에서도 지속가능한 접촉을 하여 학생들이 잘 정착할 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 다하겠다.

Practical and demonstrations are the key activity for our Hotel School.

벌써 6월 중순 졸업을 앞두고 학생들과 강사들이 실습에 한창이다.
실습을 야무지게 해야 스리랑카 국가 자격증 NVQ LEVEL 3/4를 획득하고 취업을 한다.
총 4개과가 총력을 다해, 식당 디자인, 메뉴선정, 주메뉴, 디저트 등 총 20여회에 걸쳐 실습을 한다. 나도 미식가는 아니지만 동참하여 열심히 맛을 보고 실력이 향상되고 있음에 칭찬을 아끼지 않는다.
