Ltd., a renowned manufacturer in the Island. The date 19th 2014 was marked in shining colours in the history of Carlos Embellishers as this business partnership took the form as CME - Carlos Printing Plant at Crystal Martin Europe Premises Katunayake.

Members of the top management of Crystal Martin Group and the members of Carlos Family gathered before the entrance of the newly set up plant to share the joy of the opening. After a brief introduction of the event, Mr. Darren Shacklock, the Managing Director of Crystal Martin Group of Companies opened the new plant cutting the ribbon at 9.42 a.m. with a big round of applause around. Following Sri Lankan tradition of anticipating prosperity of a new beginning Mr. Carlo Thumbawila, the Chairman of Carlos Embellishers Pvt. Ltd., lit the fire place to do ‘Kiri Ithiraweema’. While the milk got boiled Venerable Theros chanted Pirith and Reverend Fathers invoked blessing thereafter. Members of the top management of both Crystal and Carlos families lit the traditional oil lamp which was coloured with natural beauty of the national flower. Then it was the time for the precious moment of the day to print the 1st and invited a senior printer to imprint a brand name on the panel. Thereafter everyone present at the occasion took hold of a pen to put down a signature on the printed panel to witness that wonderful day of joy at the threshold of an amazing partnership.

The event came to an end with the invitation for refreshment and gifting of a souvenir to participants.
