With a slight delay of 1 month our load of gravel has arrived!!! Due to the terrible attacks with Easter the army hasn’t allowed loads of red gravel to come through. So this doesn’t just mean that we are now finally able to finish the pathways. This, alongside the news that many European countries adjusted their travel advice back to how it was before the attacks, means things are starting to get back to normal in Sri Lanka. We don’t see many reasons to reconsider your trip to Sri Lanka anymore. Whilst there are so many reasons to do come and visit this country and it’s beautiful people. @ Adamsbridgekitesurf-Mannar

Work in process! Walking in sand is nice, however taking along half of the beach into your cabana every time is less comfy. That’s why we’re working on pathways in between our buildings. For this we’re recycling the old palm leafs from our renovated cabanas as a base, drop lagoon clay on top and red gravel to top it off. The dried coconut shells from our back garden mark the sides together with little solar lights. Will you come to try them out? @ Adamsbridgekitesurf-Mannar

Dutchie on top of another truck load of palmyra palm leave stalks. One of our main building materials for our cabanas and other buildings on the resort. The stalks function as decent window or wall but still leave some space for the wind to keep the buildings nicely ventilated. Wanna catch a ride? Our kite mobile is ready for the season too! Although it’s only a 5 minute walk from the resort to the kite spot, our jeep offers you that extra service to either get a ride or drop your gear on it. It generally runs twice a day for a morning and afternoon session. But who knows..some days we might go for a third, full moon, session! Book your stay now and don’t miss your ride!
