Stop saying "check" in your IELTS essay.

Today's word: EVALUATE (verb) - ɪˈvæljueɪt
Meaning: To carefully judge or assess something

Example: Governments must evaluate the long-term impact of environmental policies.

This is a Band 7 plus word examiners love to see in Task 2 essays. Swap it in for "check" or "look at" and watch your Lexical Resource score go up.
