๐๐พHappy Thai Pongal๐พ๐
Thai Pongal is a Tamil and Hindu harvest festival celebrated to give thanks to the Sun God for the abundant harvests he is believed to bestow.
It is a joyful time of gratitude, unity, and hope, when families come together to honor nature, share traditional foods, and celebrate the fruits of their hard work. This sacred festival reminds us to respect the environment and cherish the simple blessings of life.
On this auspicious occasion, may the blessings of the Sun illuminate your life, bringing health, peace, and abundant harvests in the year ahead!

๐๐ธ Have a Blessed Ill Full Moon Poya Day ๐ธ๐
Ill Full Moon Poya is a public holiday in Sri Lanka, usually falling in November. It is the penultimate Poya day of the year and marks the end of the rainy season and the conclusion of the three-month retreat (Vassana Samaya).
This special day marks the obtaining of the Vivarana (the assurance of becoming a Buddha) by the Bodhisatta Maitreya, and the commissioning of sixty disciples by the Buddha to spread his teachings.
According to tradition, the foundation stone of Thuparamaya, Sri Lankaโs first stupa built after the introduction of Buddhism, was laid on this day many centuries ago.
