An unforgettable adventure under the stars! Our young scouts had an incredible experience filled with team building, essential life skills, and exciting outdoor challenges. A major highlight of the camp was an adventurous hiking expedition, where the students explored nature, built endurance, and embraced the true spirit of scouting.

Kudos to all our scouts for their energy, determination, and teamwork!

The Upper Nursery Seminar at Lyceum International School, Ratnapura was successfully held on 17 September 2026 at the Aeolian Hall.

The seminar was organised to strengthen the partnership between teachers and parents while supporting the overall development of our young learners. The strong participation of parents reflected their enthusiasm and commitment towards their childrenโ€™s education and development.

During the seminar, our teachers demonstrated a range of activities regularly conducted at school to support childrenโ€™s physical, cognitive, social, emotional, language and creative development. Parents were also given practical examples of how these activities can be continued and supported at home.

The importance of strong teacherโ€“parent collaboration was also highlighted, particularly in understanding each childโ€™s individual needs, encouraging positive learning habits and creating a supportive environment for their growth.

It was a valuable opportunity for parents and teachers to share ideas, communicate openly and work together towards the holistic development and well-being of every child.

This is a truly special achievement as Chaneth and Tashane step onto the international stage to proudly represent their country.

Their selection follows a highly competitive national training and selection process in Colombo, where talented junior indoor cricketers from across Sri Lanka competed for places in the national squad.

Their achievement is a wonderful reflection of their dedication, discipline, talent, hard work and commitment to the sport.

We are incredibly proud of Chaneth and Tashane and wish them every success as they take on this exciting international challenge.

Represent Sri Lanka with pride. Play your best. Make your country proud!
