On Unduvap Full Moon Poya Day, we remember the arrival of Sangamitta Theri to Sri Lanka, bringing with her the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi sapling, a symbol of wisdom, compassion, and enlightenment 🌿

This day also honors the beginning of the Bhikkhuni Sasana (order of Buddhist nuns), marking a milestone of spiritual equality and dedication. It is a reminder to nurture the roots of virtue within ourselves and live with mindfulness and grace ✨

International Korean Youth Camp – 2025
Held at Hana Global University, South Korea | 24th – 28th November 2025

We are proud to announce that four Sri Lankan students studying the Korean language had the incredible opportunity to represent Sri Lanka at the International Korean Youth Camp 2025, held at Hana Global University in South Korea.

Among them, M.A.M.M. Mallikarachchi from Sumana Balika Vidyalaya, Ratnapura, participated with great enthusiasm and proudly brought honour to the school by winning an award in the Korean literature competition.

The camp offered a truly valuable and unforgettable experience, fostering global friendships, cultural exchange, and personal growth.

Congratulations to M.A. Matheesha Methmi for being selected to represent Sri Lanka at the 2025 International Korean Education Youth Camp, organized by the Korean Foundation.
