Diane Sinnatamby 🇱🇰 is an experienced Infectious Disease Physician with a specialty in HIV medicine. She was the recipient of the Seton Hall University School Of Health And Medical
Fellowship for Infectious Disease in 2004.
For her outstanding work with the adult and geriatric population, Dr. Diane received VA Top Docs Award-nominated by peers- in 2020, 2021 and 2022- Infectious Disease category.
Sri Lankan Dr. Diane Sinnatamby - an infectious disease physician at the Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center in America, is one of 10 health care providers recognized by Richmond Magazine as "Unsung Heroes" of Richmond’s health care community.
In the height of COVID-19, the Sri Lankan MD would see patients during the day, conduct research at night about disease process and treatment protocols, and discuss options with her infectious disease colleagues in other states with high case numbers such as New York, New Jersey and Georgia regularly.
She never considered it a job, but rather as her calling.
The Sri Lankan gave 100% every day to provide the best care possible for her patients and her community.
"I feel honored and humbled to be recognized as an Unsung Hero for simply answering the call to serve" said the Sri Lankan who was educated at Ladies' College Colombo before she moved to the United States of America after completing her medical studies in Colombo.
She is a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America, the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association. Dr. Sinnatamby is also board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease.
She is well-known in Mechanicsville, Vancouver and is affiliated with Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center.
