Sri Pangnananda National College

Sri Pangnananda National College සුනාථ ධාරෙථ චරාථ ධම්මේ On 3rd of April in the Year 1995, The School became the only National college in Katana Electoral Division.

Sri Pangnananda National College was one of the first twenty five Buddhist schools founded by Colombo Parama Vingnanartha Buddhist association at the time of introducing Buddhist Schools in Sri Lanka. The School was first started on 1st of July 1885 in Raddoluwa with initiation of Venerable Dodanduwe Sri Pangnananda Thero, then it became a Government Registered funding School on 1st of September 1890.
