පාසලේ වාද්‍ය වෘන්දය සඳහා JBL Speaker පද්ධතියක් පරිත්‍යාග කළ අදී ශිෂ්‍ය සංගමයට අපගේ ස්තූතිය පුද කරන අතර, නව සේවා ස්ථානය වෙත මාරු වන තරංගා ගුරුතුමියට උණුසුම් සුබපැතුම් එක් කරමු.

තවද, 19 වන බලඇණිය කාණ්ඩායම් භාර සැරයෙන් මේජර් වෙත පත්වීම ලැබූ අප පාසලේ ශිෂ්‍යයෙකු වන Sergeant Major Qasir ISI හටද හෘදයාංගම සුබපැතුම් පිරිනමමු.

155 Years of CMS Girls’ School

In 1869 Laetitia Anna Layard married Rev. Robert Thomas Dowbiggin, the Principal of CMS Boys’ School, Cotta(Kotte). Inspired by a vision to provide education for girls, she established a girls’ school near the CMS Boys’ School premises.

Thus began the journey of CMS Girls’ School in 1871, which went on to educate and inspire generations of women for over a century and a half.

In 2021, CMS Boys’ School and CMS Girls’ School were united and established as a National School under the name CMS Sri Jayawardenapura College.

Today, we proudly celebrate 155 years of history, heritage, and excellence, honoring the vision of those who laid the foundation for this remarkable institution.

පින්බර වෙසක් මංගල්‍යයක් වේවා! 🙏
වෙසක් පුර පසළොස්වක පොහෝ දිනය යනු ලෝකවාසී බෞද්ධ ජනතාවට අතිශය වැදගත් වූ පූජනීය දිනයකි. බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේගේ උපත, බුද්ධත්වය සහ පිරිනිවීම යන ත්‍රිවිධ මංගල්‍යයන් සිහිපත් කරන මෙම උතුම් දිනයේ, සියලු දෙනාගේ සිත් තුළ කරුණාව, මෛත්‍රිය සහ ප්‍රඥාව පිරී ඉතිරී යාමට අපේක්ෂා කරමු.

වෙසක් සමය අපට මතක් කර දෙන්නේ ආලෝකයෙන් අඳුර පරාජය කළ හැකි බවත්, යහපත් සිතුවිලි හා යහපත් ක්‍රියා තුළින් සමාජය සුන්දර කළ හැකි බවත්ය. එබැවින් මේ උතුම් පොහෝ දිනයේ දී තරහ, වෛරය, ඊර්ෂ්‍යාව හා අහංකාරය දුරු කරමින්, මනුෂ්‍යත්වය සහ දයාව වර්ධනය කර ගැනීමට අප සියලු දෙනා කැපවෙමු.

දන්සැල්, වෙසක් කූඩු, තොරණ් සහ ආගමික වතාවත් අතරින් ගමන් කරන මේ පින්බර කාලය තුළ, අපේ ජීවිතවලට සැබෑ අර්ථයක් ලබා දෙන්නේ බුදු දහමේ අගනා වටිනාකම් ප්‍රායෝගිකව ජීවිතයට එක් කර ගැනීමයි. එම වටිනාකම් අපගේ පවුල්වලට, පාසල්වලට සහ සමාජයට ආශිර්වාදයක් වනු ඇත.

CMS පවුලේ සියලුම සිසුන්, ආචාර්ය මණ්ඩලය, ආදි ශිෂ්‍යයන්, දෙමාපියන් සහ හිතවතුන් වෙත සාමය, සතුට, නිරෝගීභාවය සහ සෙත සපිරි පින්බර වෙසක් මංගල්‍යයක් වේවායි හෘදයාංගමව ප්‍රාර්ථනා කරමු. 🌼🕯️
