Mathematical Society - University of Peradeniya

පේරාදෙණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ ගණිත දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව සහ අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යාංශයේ ගණිත අංශය ඒකාබද්ධව සංවිධානය කරනු ලබන උසස් පෙළ ගණිත ගුරුවරුන් සඳහා වන වෘත්තීය සංවර්ධන වැඩමුළුව, ජුනි මස 08, 09 සහ 10 යන දිනවලදී අප දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේදී පැවැත්වේ.

මෙම වැඩසටහනේ ප්‍රධාන අරමුණ වන්නේ ගණිත ගුරුවරුන්ගේ විෂය දැනුම යාවත්කාලීන කිරීම සහ නවීන ඉගැන්වීම් ක්‍රමවේදයන් කෙරෙහි ඔවුන්ව සන්නද්ධ කිරීමයි.

වැඩසටහනට ඇතුළත් වන ප්‍රධාන අංග:

තාක්ෂණික ප්‍රවේශයන්: කෘතිම බුද්ධිය (AI) සහ ගණිතමය මෘදුකාංග භාවිතය.

ප්‍රායෝගික පුහුණුව: GeoGebra භාවිතයෙන් වියුක්ත ගණිත සංකල්ප දෘශ්‍යමාන කිරීම (Visualizing Concepts).

විෂයානුබද්ධ දේශන: සංකීර්ණ සංඛ්‍යා, අවකලනය, සරල අනුවර්තීය චලිතය සහ වෘත්ත චලිතය පිළිබඳ ගැඹුරු විශ්ලේෂණ.

මනෝවිද්‍යාත්මක ප්‍රවේශයන්: සිසුන් මාර්ගෝපදේශනය සහ ඉගැන්වීම් අභියෝග ජය ගැනීම.

Pi Day Celebration 2026 🥧✨

On 14th March 2026, our department proudly celebrated Pi Day in collaboration with the Ministry of Education. Nearly 100 school students and teachers joined us to explore the beauty and importance of Mathematics.

It was a day filled with learning, enthusiasm, and inspiration as we came together to appreciate the significance of π (3.14) and its impact on the world of science and mathematics.
