PERA Wrestling proudly congratulates our Coach, Mr. Anuja Mallawaarachchi, on his successful graduation from the UWW International Coaching Course at the Hungarian University of Sports Science in Budapest.

Supported by United World Wrestling (UWW) and the IOC Olympic Solidarity Programme, this prestigious program equips international coaches with world-class, scientifically-backed training methodologies.

This achievement marks a significant milestone for the University of Peradeniya. Coach Anuja’s newly acquired expertise will directly benefit our student-athletes, further elevating our institution's rich sporting legacy and ongoing commitment to athletic excellence.

Furthermore, this is a vital step forward for the nation. His international training will be instrumental in bridging the gap between local talent and global standards, helping to shape and elevate the future of Sri Lankan wrestling on the world stage.

We commend Coach Anuja for his dedication to the sport and look forward to the immense value his continued leadership will bring to our athletes.
