Openskies Flight Training (PVT) Ltd, CAASL approved Flight Training Organisation registered under the Board of Investments of Sri Lanka is aimed at providing High Quality Flight Training for Local and Foreign Students through PPL up to CPL/IR. Located at Panadura the Ground Training Centre provides equal access to both operating bases of Openskies namely Katukurunda and Ratmalana. Openskies beleives that students should gain the maximum benefit of resources available for students and as such provides students with a wide variety of cross country destinations along with 2 operating bases to commence training flights. Ground School is conducted with a mixture of Formal Lectures, Self Studies and Computer Based learning to ensure students with different lurning curves and attended to. Full Time Ground Instructors are available Monday to Friday with the ability to schedule special classes during weekends should student wish.

Every cross-country flight is a milestone in a student's journey to becoming a pilot. ✈️

Flying beyond the local training area requires far more than simply operating the aircraft. Students apply the knowledge gained during ground school to plan the route, calculate fuel requirements, interpret weather conditions, communicate with Air Traffic Control, and navigate safely to their destination.
