ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ඇඟලුම් ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ ජීවමාන පුරාවෘත්තය: මහාචාර්ය රෝහණ කුරුප්පු! 👗🎓🔥

ඇඟලුම් ක්ෂේත්‍රය කිව්වම අපිට මතක් වෙන්නේ මැෂින් සද්දෙයි, රෙදි කෑලිවලුයි විතරක් වෙන්න පුළුවන්. හැබැයි මේ ක්ෂේත්‍රය ඇතුළේ ලෝකයම දිනපු දැවැන්තයෙක් නිහඬවම තමන්ගේ 51 වසරක සේවා කාලය සපුරලා තියෙනවා. ඒ වෙන කවුරුත් නෙවෙයි, මෙරට ඇඟලුම් අධ්‍යාපනයේ "පීතෘවරයා" ලෙස සැලකෙන මහාචාර්ය රෝහණ කුරුප්පු (Professor Rohana Kuruppu) මහතායි!

🎓 එංගලන්තයේ සිට මොරටුව දක්වා ආ අධ්‍යාපන ගමන
මහාචාර්ය රෝහණ කුරුප්පු මහතා තමන්ගේ උසස් අධ්‍යාපන කටයුතු සඳහා එංගලන්තයට (UK) ගිහින් රෙදිපිළි තාක්ෂණය (Textile Technology) පිළිබඳ විශේෂඥ දැනුමක් ලබාගත්තා. එතැනින් ලැබූ පන්නරයත් එක්ක 1978 වසරේදී ඔහු මොරටුව විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ සහකාර කථිකාචාර්යවරයෙක් විදිහට තමන්ගේ ගුරු වෘත්තිය ආරම්භ කළා.

🏗️ ආයතන ගොඩනැගූ දැවැන්ත නායකත්වය
ඔහු නිකන්ම උගන්වපු කෙනෙක් නෙවෙයි, ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ප්‍රධාන පෙළේ ආයතන රැසක නිර්මාතෘවරයා ඔහුයි:

CITI (Clothing Industry Training Institute): 1984 දී මෙහි ආරම්භක අධ්‍යක්ෂවරයා විදිහට කටයුතු කරමින් රත්මලාන CITI ආයතනය ගොඩනැගුවේ ඔහුයි.

රණවිරු ඇඟලුම් (Ranaviru Apparels Ltd): මේක තමයි එයාගේ සුවිශේෂීම මෙහෙවර. 1992 සිට 2018 දක්වා කාලය තුළ, ආබාධිත රණවිරුවන් වෙනුවෙන් රණවිරු ඇඟලුම් ආයතනය බිහිකරලා එය සාර්ථකව පවත්වාගෙන යන්න ඔහු සුවිශේෂී දායකත්වයක් දුන්නා. 🫡🇱🇰

Brandix College: 1996 සිට 2019 දක්වා Brandix College of Clothing and Technology ආයතනයේ සභාපති/CEO ලෙස කටයුතු කරමින් ක්ෂේත්‍රයට අවශ්‍ය දක්ෂ තරුණ පිරිස් දහස් ගණනින් බිහි කළා.

✨ වසර 51ක නොසැලෙන කැපවීම
දැනට මහාචාර්යවරයෙකු ලෙස SLTC (Sri Lanka Technological Campus) ආයතනයේ සේවය කරන ඔහු, වසර 44ක් පුරාවටම ගුරු වෘත්තියේ නිරත වෙලා තියෙනවා. ඔහු සැමවිටම කියන්නේ තමන් "Front line teacher" කෙනෙක් කියලා. ඒ කියන්නේ මොන තරම් ඉහළ තනතුරු දැරුවත්, තමන්ගේ ශිෂ්‍යයන්ට උගන්වන එක තමයි ඔහුගේ ප්‍රධානම සතුට.

💡 අපිට ගන්න තියෙන ආදර්ශය
මහාචාර්ය රෝහණ කුරුප්පු මහතා පවසන්නේ ඔහු සැමවිටම "අලුත් දේවල් ඉගෙන ගන්න සහ දියුණු වෙන්න" (Always keen to find ways of improvement) උත්සාහ කරන කෙනෙක් කියලා. වසර 50කට වඩා අත්දැකීම් තිබුණත්, අදටත් ඔහු අලුත් තාක්ෂණයත් එක්ක ඉස්සරහට යනවා.

ලංකාවේ ඇඟලුම් ක්ෂේත්‍රය අද ලෝකයේ අංක එකට තියෙන්නේ මේ වගේ කැපවීම් කරපු දැවැන්තයෝ නිසයි. රණවිරුවන් වෙනුවෙන් සහ තරුණ පරපුර වෙනුවෙන් ඔහු කළ සේවය සදා අමරණීයයි!
