Educators Meet in Negombo to Transform International Education

A milestone moment for Sri Lanka’s education sector unfolds as the Sri Lanka International Schools Association presents the SLISA School Leaders’ Summit 2026.
Taking place on Sunday, 24th May 2026 at Jetwing Blue, the summit will bring together school leaders and educators to exchange ideas, strengthen leadership, and reimagine the future of learning.
Under the theme “Leading with Purpose: Transforming International Education for a Dynamic Sri Lanka,” the event promotes collaboration, innovation, and purpose-driven leadership.

The First Assembly of the Third Term was successfully conducted by Grade 9A under the meaningful theme, “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗸”

The programme included speeches, Bakthi Gee presentations, demonstrations, and other student performances that beautifully reflected the spirit of Vesak while promoting the values of kindness, peace, respect, and compassion.

The assembly created a calm and reflective atmosphere and highlighted the talents, teamwork, and creativity of the students of Grade 9A while celebrating the true essence of Vesak.

Only two days to go until the most awaited Pre-Primary event!

The countdown continues as our little performers prepare to light up the stage with confidence, happiness, energy, and memorable performances on their special day.

The 3rd Term commenced with a vibrant and inspiring First Assembly, setting an enthusiastic tone for a term filled with purpose, growth, and achievement.

The Principal commemorated the school’s 14th anniversary, reflected on the school’s journey, and warmly welcomed the students.

The Academic Coordinator highlighted the importance of maintaining a stronger academic focus, especially for O/L and A/L students.

The Sub-Warden and Sports Coordinator reminded students about grooming, discipline, and the importance of participating in sports.

The Upper School Sectional Head emphasised the importance of holistic development.

The Primary School Sectional Head encouraged students to set goals and work towards achieving them.

A special felicitation ceremony was also held to appreciate the A/L teachers for their outstanding A/L results.
