I was honoured and privileged to receive a ‘Sri Lanka Iconic Woman 2025’ award in recognition of my outstanding contribution to Radio and Television in Sri Lanka. The award was presented by the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation at the BMICH yesterday, at their centenary celebrations to mark 100 years of Broadcasting in Sri Lanka.
My Congratulations and Thanks to SLBC an unparalleled radio station which is the oldest in Asia and the second oldest in the world. What an achievement!!
