26th December – *Tsunami Remembrance Day*. 🕯🕯️

Today we remember the tragic Indian Ocean Tsunami of 2004 that claimed thousands of lives in Sri Lanka and across many countries.

We honor the innocent lives lost, stand in solidarity with the survivors, and remember the strength, resilience, and unity shown in the face of unimaginable loss. May we never forget.

" On 17t December 2025, the Leo club of Saegis Campus nugegoda in collaboration with the - Australia and Mr Avinash Peiris, proudly donated over 1.5 million LKR worth of items - including sports equipments, excercise books, and music band instruments - to , Anuradhapura .
This donation was not just about providing support , but about spreading joy and showing gratitude to our motherland for all it has given to us. Witnessing the students happy smiles reminded us of the true spirit of Saegis Leos - giving selfessly from heart.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our Vice-Chancellors Major General (Retired )Milinda Peries, The chairman and founder of Nobal Dawn foundation Mr Avinash Peiris, Staff advisor Leo Club Of Saegis Campus Ms Samadhi Paramitha Herath
, Mrs Yamuna Senevirathna Mr Sunil Thalagahaarachchi and all the leos whose tremendous effort made this project possible.
