We had the pleasure of conducting another awareness session on ORCID for the academics and researchers of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) in Sri Lanka.

The session focused on the importance of maintaining a unique and persistent digital identifier through ORCID, and how it can support researchers in building a trusted academic identity, streamlining research workflows, and increasing visibility in the global research landscape.

It was truly inspiring to witness the enthusiasm and active participation from the attendees, who brought valuable insights and thoughtful questions into the discussion.

Thanks to Dr. Faiz Marikar, Director/ Staff Development, KDU and all the participants for making this initiative a success.
