Obituary:
Mrs. Rita Stephany Lowe, beloved mother of Fr. Romesh Lowe OMI has been called to eternal rest.
Her remains will lie at Raymond's Funeral Parlour, Mahabage from 6pm to 10pm today and will be at home from morning till 3 pm tomorrow, followed by service at home and Mass at St. Mary's church, Nayakekanda, Wattala.

The Island In a brief span of four years, St. Eugene’s Trophy inter-club basketball tournament has enjoyed unprecedented success and this year the organizers have promised an even better show as the event is scheduled on the 26th, 27th and 28th of October at Police Park basketball courts at Bambalapitiya.

This is to inform you that a next meeting of St. Eugene's basketball trophy will take place at 6.00 p.m. on the 12th of October 2012 at SSC Conference Hall, just after the press conference.

Also the Association invite you to the press conference ahead of the basketball tournament at Sinhalese Sports Club ground (SSC).
