Department of Economics

The Department of Economics started with the establishment of the University in 1959.

Since then, thousands of skillful graduates have been produced for more than 60 years. At present, the Department offers a wide array of courses through which students are provided with subject-specific knowledge and the skills needed to build up as economics graduates who can serve in a broader range of careers. Furthermore, the Department offers the students the opportunity to have experience as interns in reputed public and private sector organizations.
