We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Kosala Nuwan Jayaweera, a former student of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Open University of Sri Lanka. His historic achievement as the first member of our department to be elected to Parliament stands as a testament to his vision, courage, and commitment to society. His dedication to public service will always be remembered. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.
