With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved retired Sir, Mr. Janaka Sooriyaarachchi of Newstead.
Final rites - Sunday at Meerigama. Time and place will be announced later.

It is with deep sorrow that we inform the passing of the father of former teacher 𝗠𝗿. 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗹, and father-in-law of 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗡𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗸𝗮 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗸𝗲, a teacher of the Primary Section of our school.

The remains are lying at the residence located at 𝗪𝗲𝘄𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱, 𝗗𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗮 (𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟰𝟲 𝗯𝘂𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲).

The funeral will take place on 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 at 𝟰:𝟬𝟬 𝗽.𝗺.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family during this time of grief.

Due to the prevailing fuel situation and the challenges it poses for travel and participation, we regret to inform you that the 𝙋𝘼𝙎𝙏 𝙋𝙐𝙋𝙄𝙇𝙎’ 𝘼𝙎𝙎𝙊𝘾𝙄𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉 𝘼𝙂𝙈 2026 scheduled for 𝙎𝘼𝙏𝙐𝙍𝘿𝘼𝙔, 𝙈𝘼𝙍𝘾𝙃 28𝙏𝙃, 2026 has been 𝙋𝙊𝙎𝙏𝙋𝙊𝙉𝙀𝘿 𝙐𝙉𝙏𝙄𝙇 𝙁𝙐𝙍𝙏𝙃𝙀𝙍 𝙉𝙊𝙏𝙄𝘾𝙀.
This decision has been taken in the best interest of the safety and convenience of all our members.

On 16.03.2025, the generous 𝐀𝐔𝐃 2000 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 from the 𝐏𝐏𝐀 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡 was officially handed over to the 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 and the 𝐏𝐏𝐀 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 at 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬’ 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞, 𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐨.

The donation was presented by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐚 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨 and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐚 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐚 in the presence of the 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 at the school.
