🌞Our scout troop recently held a vibrant "Avurudu" celebration at the Maris Stella College small ground, bringing everyone together for a day of traditional fun and high energy. The field was filled with laughter as scouts competed in classic events. It was a memorable day that perfectly captured the spirit of the New Year and the strong bond within our troop.🌞

⚜️The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step and usually a compass. 🧭 We are beyond excited to welcome newest scouts to Troop! From building campfires to building character, we can’t wait to see what you achieve. Let the adventure begin⚜️

INTER HOUSE ATHLETIC MEET-2026

🕊️🏳️It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that the 33rd Maris Stella Scout Troop announces the passing of Mr. Kavintha Fernando, beloved father of our Senior Scout, Nish*th Fernando.
​Mr. Kavintha was a dedicated supporter of our troop and a pillar of strength for Nish*th. His kindness and encouragement will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. We stand in solidarity with Nish*th and his family during this incredibly difficult time.

We are proud to announce that seven Senior Scouts from the 33rd Negombo Maris Stella College Scout Troop have been selected to represent the Sri Lanka Scout Association at the SG60 Singapore International Jamboree, taking place from 18th to 23rd November 2025 at the Sarimbun Scout Camp, Singapore.

SG60 Singapore International Jamboree is a major event in conjunction with Singapore’s 60th National Day celebration and it will bring an exclusive Scouting experience for the young Scouts through numerous activities.

🏕️ Annual Scouts Camp 2025 🏕️
Held from 17th to 19th September 2025 at Maris Stella College, Negombo, our annual camp was an unforgettable experience filled with learning, teamwork, and adventure! 🌲🔥
Over 60 enthusiastic scouts took part in this three-day journey of exploration and growth. A heartfelt thank you to Scout Mistress Dharshika Fernando and Scout Master Ajith Hettiarachchi for their dedicated guidance throughout the camp. 🙏
Special appreciation to Rev. Bro. Sunanda Alwis, our Group Scout Master, for his continuous support and encouragement.
We are also deeply grateful to Headquarters Commissioners Mr. Thilakman Padmasiri and Mr. Dharmalal Gunawardana for conducting valuable sessions that inspired our scouts to reach greater heights. 🌟
