Today marks the first step of a dream becoming reality with the unveiling of a student-built proof-of-concept race car. Designed and built by Devthilina Wijepura, a 14-year-old Grade 10 student, this is his third engineering project and a reflection of his passion for innovation, engineering, and motorsport.
Built through determination, creativity, and countless hours of dedication, this project shows that even the boldest ambitions can become reality with hard work and perseverance. It is not just the completion of a project, but the beginning of a journey that aims to inspire future innovators and showcase the potential of young Sri Lankan talent.

A proud and inspiring occasion as the newly appointed Prefects of Loyola College, Negombo officially accepted their leadership responsibilities for the academic year 2026–2027.

The ceremony was graced by our Chief Guest, Mr. Chandana Sooriyabandara, whose inspiring words encouraged our young leaders to uphold the values of integrity, responsibility, and dedicated service.
