Scholarships Available:

International Merit-Based Scholarship (£5,000): Application-based and currently open.

International Success Support Scholarship (£2,500):
Automatic for selected courses. UG students may receive up to £7,500 (over 3 years), and PG students receive £2,500 in their first year.

Kingston MBA Scholarship (£5,000): Automatic for eligible MBA programs.

Important Notes:

No refund will be issued in case of fraudulent documentation or if the final CAS has been used for visa application.
Study gap is acceptable provide a strong justification (exceptions may apply for MBA).
No issues with prior visa refusals.
No age restrictions.
Application Process:

Ensure all details are accurately filled in the application form.
Any post-submission corrections must be communicated directly to the admissions team.
Offer decision timeline: Approximately 2 weeks (14 business days).
Applicants must confirm engagement status and update any pending documents on OSIS.
Agent Authorisation:

Agent tagging is now completed directly by students via the OSIS portal under the “Your Application” tab. No manual requests are required.
CAS Process:

Prepare CAS request
Submit request via OSIS
Upload supporting documents
Approve draft CAS
Receive final CAS
CAS Deposit:

PG applicants must pay a non-refundable deposit of £5,000, adjustable against tuition fees.
Deposit Exemptions:

Undergraduate (UG) students
Students with education loans covering tuition + living expenses (RBI-regulated institutions)
Government or company-sponsored students
Refund Process:

Refund requests must be submitted via the Kingston University Student Refund Form (PDF).

Layoffs hit a B.C. university as international student numbers drop. 🎓

University of the Fraser Valley is cutting about 45 faculty and staff positions as it faces a deficit of over $20 million. The school says declining international enrolment is a major factor, part of a wider shift affecting post-secondary institutions across the province.

The cuts include teaching and non-teaching faculty, along with dozens of staff roles, with more reductions possible. Concerns are also growing around potential tuition increases, program cuts, and the overall impact on students’ ability to complete their education.
