Cricket Friendship Tournament!!!!

Last Saturday, NGO Asian German Sports Exchange Programme took place Peace Village Cricket Friendship Tournament at Catholic school in Marawilla.

This event was to build inter community bond through sports. Approximately 50 children participated in the tournament.

It is our great honor that Minister, a Chief Buddhist priests, Mayor of Nattandiya, a member of parliament and a priest of Marawilla Catholic Church visited this event.

Inter community sports exchange event!!

Asians German Sports Exchange Programmed organized inter community exchange event.

Over 130 including children and adults from Buddhist, Catholic and Muslim communities participated and Interns from Germany and Japan supported. Everybody enjoyed new year games.

It was a fantastic day!!

Recently, report of inter community crash exaggerated by media and fake rumor have worsened inter-religious relation. Peace Village strongly believes that sport exchange program can keep our peaceful society.
