On 23rd July 2026, the Sri Lanka Inventors Commission (SLIC) and the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL), having had a string mutual understanding and worked together for years, now officially entered to a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking the start of a three-year partnership to strengthen Sri Lanka's innovation ecosystem through the TECHNO Exhibition.

This partnership is all about creating more opportunities for Sri Lankan inventors. Together, we hope to help more Sri Lankan innovations move beyond great ideas and become real-world solutions that benefit society and contribute to the country's economic growth.

This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to supporting inventors, encouraging innovation, and building a stronger future for Sri Lanka through technology and creativity.
