கல்வி பயின்ற இடத்திற்கு கைம்மாறு செய்த
கண்ணியமான பண்பாளரே - இன்று எங்கே சென்றீர்?
சுவர்கள் சொல்லும் நீர் செய்த உதவிகளை,
மாணவர் இதயம் பேசும் உம் பெருமைகளை,
நிறைந்த மனதோடு நீர் நின்ற இடமெல்லாம்
நினைவுகளால் இன்று கண்ணீர் பூக்கின்றது!
