The CGTTI Sports Club has proudly donated three petrol-driven grass-cutting machines to the Basic Training Sections (A, B & C), strengthening our commitment to a cleaner, greener, and more inspiring learning environment.
These machines will support students in their daily gardening and grounds maintenance activities while helping them develop valuable qualities such as teamwork, discipline, responsibility, and practical skills. 🌱

🍦✨ Ice Cream Dansala Organized by the Account Office, Supply Office, Works Engineer's Office, Medical Unit & Main Stores ✨🍦
In the spirit of Poson Full Moon Poya Day, the ccount Office, Supply Office, Works Engineer's Office, Medical Unit & Main Stores of the Ceylon German Technical Training Institute (CGTTI) jointly organized a delightful Ice Cream Dansala for students, staff, and visitors.
This collaborative initiative reflected the true essence of Dāna (generosity), bringing together officers and staff members from different departments to serve the CGTTI community with kindness, unity, and compassion.
The event created a joyful atmosphere across the institute, strengthening the bonds among staff and students while celebrating the cultural and spiritual significance of Poson. Through this meaningful act of giving, the organizers demonstrated the values of teamwork, social responsibility, and community service that continue to enrich the CGTTI family.

Mechatronics Section Hosts a Poson Dansala for the Second Consecutive Year
Continuing a meaningful tradition of generosity and community spirit, the Industrial Mechatronics Section of the Ceylon German Technical Training Institute (CGTTI) successfully organized a Poson Dansala (2026/07/01) for the second consecutive year.
The event was made possible through the collective efforts of the section's lecturers and students, who warmly served Seeni Sambal Buns and Tea to members of the CGTTI community in celebration of the sacred Poson Full Moon Poya Day.
This annual initiative reflects the Buddhist values of generosity (Dāna), compassion, and selfless service, while strengthening the spirit of unity and cooperation among students, teachers, and staff.

To mark the sacred Poson Full Moon Poya Day, the Millwright Section of Ceylon German Technical Training Institute (CGTTI) organized a cool drinks and biscuit Dansala programme with the participation of the section’s Teachers and students.
This meaningful initiative was carried out with the aim of promoting the values of kindness, generosity, unity, and social responsibility among the CGTTI community.
The Teachers and students worked together to successfully organize and serve refreshments, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere while sharing the spirit of Poson with everyone.

Promoting Spiritual Values and Cultural Awareness Among the CGTTI Community
To commemorate the significance of Poson Full Moon Poya Day, the BASIC A, B, and C Sections of the Ceylon German Technical Training Institute (CGTTI) organized a special Dhamma Sermon Programme at the CGTTI Auditorium.
The programme was conducted with the objective of creating an opportunity for students and staff members to engage in a meaningful spiritual experience while reflecting on the teachings and values associated with Poson Poya Day.
The Dhamma sermon emphasized the importance of qualities such as compassion, discipline, mindfulness, kindness, and ethical living. It also encouraged participants to apply these valuable teachings in their daily lives for personal growth and social harmony.
The event was attended by members of the CGTTI community, who participated with great respect and enthusiasm. The peaceful environment of the auditorium provided a suitable setting for everyone to listen to the sermon and spend time in spiritual reflection.
