Our Lady of Victories Convent Moratuwa is an English Catholic school which was inaugurated in 1886 with just two teachers and nine students. Mother Mary of St.

The Convent now has more than 2200 students and 100 teachers. Nearly 42 of the teachers are past pupils. A large crowd was gathered at the Moratuwa Station on March 9, 1886 to welcome the sisters, Mgr. It with great sorrow we announce the demise of our Past Teacher and Past Pupil Ms. Elsie Silva.

Ms. Silva served as the Teacher in Charge of Basketball during her tenure.

Remains will lie at the Respect by Laksiri funeral director's parlour from 8.30am from 16th of January 2024.

Funeral Service will take place on the 17th of January 2024 at Holy Spirit Church wadduwa.

May Her Soul Rest In Peace 🙏🙏
