The Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, is delighted to share the successful completion of two insightful sessions conducted under our βSkill Sprintsβ initiative for our undergraduates.
π‘ Session 01 β Agile Software Engineering Methodology
Conducted by Ms. Charithma Hettiarachchi, this session provided students with valuable insights into Agile principles, practices, and how modern software development teams collaborate and deliver value in dynamic environments.
π» Session 02 β Progressive Web Applications (PWAs)
Conducted by Mr. Rukshan J Senanayaka, the session introduced students to the evolving world of Progressive Web Applications and practical approaches to building modern, responsive, and user-focused web experiences.
These sessions were designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practice, giving our students an opportunity to learn directly from experienced professionals, explore emerging technologies, and gain practical perspectives that complement their academic journey.
A heartful thank you to Ms. Charithma Hettiarachchi and Mr. Rukshan J. Senanayaka for generously sharing your knowledge, experience, and valuable insights with our students. Your contribution has added immense value to their learning experience. πβ¨
We also extend our appreciation to everyone who contributed to the successful organization and ex*****on of these sessions, and to our enthusiastic undergraduates for their active participation.
At IDS, we believe that learning extends beyond the classroom and through initiatives such as Skill Sprints, we continue to create opportunities for our students to learn, connect, explore and grow. π
