Mawanella Education Zone Zonal Schools' Athletics Championship – 2026 🏆

Alhamdulillah! Our Division emerged as the Overall Champions among the three divisions at the Mawanella Education Zone Zonal Schools' Athletics Championship – 2026.

Nooraniya M.M.V proudly secured Overall 4th Place among 50+ participating schools.

The championship was successfully held on 14th & 15th July 2026 at the Kegalle Public Ground.

We are also proud to announce that all our outstanding athletes have been selected to represent the Mawanella Education Zone at the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Schools' Athletics Championship – 2026.

Welcome Ceremony of G.C.E (A/L) 2026/2028 - Held on 15th July 2026. Alhamdulillah…

Today, Nooraniya Muslim Maha Vidyalaya warmly welcomed the new G.C.E. (A/L) 2026/2028 Arts and Commerce students through a memorable Freshers' Welcome Ceremony, organized by the school management together with the senior A/L students.

We sincerely thank our respected Principal, Deputy Principals, teachers, SDEC members, OBA, OGA, parents, senior A/L students, and everyone who participated in and contributed to the success of this event. Your presence, support, and dedication made the programme truly meaningful.

Sabaragamuwa Provincial School Games – 2026

Alhamdulillah! Nooraniya M.M.V proudly secured the Provincial Runners-up title in the Under-18 Football Tournament and qualified for the All Island School Games – 2026.

Match Results

1–0 vs Babul Hassan M.M.V
2–0 vs Vidyaloka Vidyalaya
2–0 Al Akeel M.M.V

Final : Drew 1–1 against Baduriya Central College after a spirited performance. Unfortunately, we were defeated 3–2 in the penalty shootout.

Congratulations to our dedicated players and coaching staff on this outstanding achievement and for making our school proud.
