According to a project of our school's student parliament to introduce parliamentary traditions to students, we went to the second session of the 10th parliament on 03.12.2024. Student MPs met Ministress Saroja Paulraj, Ministers Arkam Ilyas and Muneer Mulaffer.

The 3rd session of the Student Parliament was successfully held on the 14th of October, 2024, at the school main hall.

ශිෂ්‍ය පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ කෘෂිකර්ම හා පරිසර සංවර්ධන අමාත්‍ය පමිත් පසන්දුල් හා නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය තරුෂික දුලංජන, නිපුණතා හා නව නිපැයුම් කටයුතු අමාත්‍යංශයේ අමාත්‍ය ඔමිරු ටරීන් යන අමාත්‍යවරු සහ එම අමාත්‍යංශ වලට අදාළ අනෙකුත් ශිෂ්‍ය නියෝජිතයන් ඒකාබද්ධව 2024..10.03 දින පාසලේ හඳුනාගත් ස්ථාන කිහිපයක පාසල් පිරියත අලංකරණය කිරීමේ ව්‍යාපෘතියේ පළමු අදියර ඉතා සාර්ථකව සිදුකරන ලදී.

ශිෂ්‍ය පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ අන්තර් පාසල් සුහදතා වර්ධනය කිරීමේ අමාත්‍යාංශය විසින් සංවිධානය කරන ලද "යථාර්ථය" 2024 මාතර දිස්ත්‍රික් ආරාධිත අන්තර් පාසල් විවාද තරගාවලිය රුහුණු විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයේ කථිකාචාර්ය මොහොමඩ් නිලාම් මොහොමඩ් නිස්මි මහතාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් 2024.10.02 දින ඉතා සාර්ථක අන්දමින් පැවැත්විණි. ආරම්භයේ පටන්ම නිසි මඟ පෙන්වීමක් හා උපදෙස් දෙමින් අපට යෝධ ශක්තියක් වුණු විදුහල්පතිතුමාට ගෞරවනීය ස්තුතිය පුදකර සිටිමු. එමෙන්ම විෂය සමගාමී නියෝජ්‍ය විදුහල්පති ඉන්දික දීරසිංහ මහතා ඇතුළු සියලුම නියෝජ්‍ය විදුහල්පති මහත්ම මහත්මීන්ටත් ස්තුතියි පුද කර සිටිමු.

මාධ්‍ය හා සන්නිවේදන කටයුතු සඳහා සහාය දැක්වූ නන්දසිරි ජයතුංග මහතාටත් උත්පලා සහබන්ධු මහත්මියටත් ස්තුතිය ප්‍රකාශ කරමු. සහතික පත්‍ර ලිවීම සිදුකළ රොෂානා ගුරු මහත්මියටත් ස්තුතියි පළකර සිටිමු. මෙම උත්සවය සඳහා සහාය ලබා දුන් සියලු අධ්‍යයන හා අනධ්‍යයන කාර්යය මණ්ඩලයටත් ස්තුතිය පළ කර සිටිමු.

තරඟය සංවිධානය කිරීම සඳහා තම නොමසුරු දායකත්වය ලබාදුන් පිනිත් ද සිල්වා මහතාට විශේෂ ස්තුතිය පළකර සිටිමු. තවද මෙම වැඩසටහන සඳහා මූල්‍යමය දායකත්වය සැපයූ 2010 ආදි ශිෂ්‍ය කණ්ඩායමේ රජිත් අන්ජන මහතා සහ තරිඳු නුවන් ගමගේ මහතාටත් විශේෂ ස්තූතිය පුදකර සිටිමු. එමෙන්ම ශිෂ්‍ය පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ සියලු කටයුතු සඳහා සහ තම වගකීම ඉටු කරමින් අදාළ කාර්යභාරය මනාව සිදුකරන අග්‍රාමාත්‍ය සංදීප් ටෙහෙරාන් සිසුවාටත් තම අමාත්‍යාංශයට අදාළ වගකීම් සහ ශිෂ්‍ය පාර්ලිමේන්තු නියෝජිතයකු ලෙස තම වගකීම් නිසි ලෙස ඉටු කරමින් සියලු කටයුතු සඳහා මනා සහයෝගයක් ලබාදුන් විෂය භාර අමාත්‍ය ඉසිදු දුල්හස සිසුවාටත් එම අමාත්‍යාංශයේ නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය ටෙෂාන්ත් පැහැසර සිසුවාටත්, සියලුම කටයුතු සඳහා ආරම්භයේ පටන්ම අවසානය දක්වා මනා සහයෝගයක් ලබා දුන් සසුන් කිත්නුල සිසුවාටත්, පරිගණක හා තාක්ෂණික කටයුතු සඳහා මනා සහයෝගයක් ලබාදුන් අමාත්‍ය දහම් විජේසේකර සිසුවාටත් එමෙන්ම සෙනුද ගුණවර්ධන, සල්මාන් මුනාස් ඩීන්, සත්රූ බිනුදිත යන අමාත්‍යවරු ඇතුළු සියලුම අමාත්‍යවරු, නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍යවරුන්ට සහ මන්ත්‍රීවරුන්ටත් ස්තුතිය පළ කරමු. එසේම නිවේදන කටයුතු කළ ඔමිරු ටරීන්, ජලිඳු තාරින්ද යන සිසුන්ටත් ස්තුතිය පළ කර සිටිමු.

"යථාර්ථය 2024" Matara District Invitational Inter-School Debating Competition organized by the Ministry of Inter-school goodwill development, of the Student Parliament was held on 02.10.2024 in a very successful manner under the chairmanship of Ruhunu University Lecturer Mr. Mohammad Nilam Mohammad Nizmi. We would like to express our sincere thanks to the Principal who has been a great strength for us by giving proper guidance and advice right from the beginning. We would also like to thank all the Deputy Principals including the co-curricular Deputy Principal Mr. Indika Deerasinghe.

We would like to express our special thanks to Mr. Pinith De Silva for his generous contribution in organizing the competition. Also, we would like to express our special thanks to Mr. Rajith Anjana and Mr. Tarindu Nuwan Gamage of the 2010 alumni group who contributed financially to this program.We would like to thank Mr. Nandasiri Jayatunga and Mrs. Utpala Sahabandhu for their support in media and communication activities. We are also thankful to Mrs. Roshana who wrote the certificates. We would also like to thank all the academic and non-academic staff who supported this event.

Also to Prime Minister Sandeep Teheran Sisu who performed his role well by fulfilling his responsibilities and his generous contribution to all activities of the Student Parliament and to the Minister in charge Isindu Dulhasa who provided good support for all activities by fulfilling his responsibilities related to his ministry and his responsibilities as a student parliament representative. To the Deputy Minister of the Ministry, Teshanth Pahsara, to Sasun Kitnula, who provided good support for all activities from the beginning to the end, and to Minister Daham Wijesekera, who provided good support for computer and technical work, as well as to Senuda Gunawardena, Salman Munas Deen, Sathru Binuditha, and all other ministers.
