THE FUTURE OF THE EARTH BASED ON SOLAR.
The Sun is a star that formed 4.5 billion years ago. The sun produces heat and light energy as a nuclear fusion reaction that combines four hydrogen atoms to form a helium atom.
Life on Earth depends on this light and thermal energy coming from a distance of 150 million kilometers. The Earth’s system is made up of four ecosystems: the lithosphere(land), “hydrosphere” (water), atmosphere” (air), and the biosphere (living things).
Electricity has become a basic human need, and fossil fuel combustion has gradually spread around the world. Gradually, the world is turning to alternative renewable energy sources such as hydro-power and wind power and Solar energy is now becoming the number one renewable energy source.
In 1954, Bell Telephone discovered that silicon, an element in the sand, creates an electric charge when exposed to sunlight. This is called the “photo Voltic effect”. Thus, sun’s light rays hit these silicon semiconductors as photons and emit electrons. Eventually, it generates electrical energy and stores it in solar cells.
