Parents’ Awareness Session – Empowering Parents for Students’ Success

A Parents’ Awareness Session for Grade 9, 10 & 11 students was successfully conducted on 20th August 2026 at 9.30 a.m. at the College Auditorium.
The session was graced by:
🎓 Mr. Ranjith Premathilaka – Deputy Director of Education (Education Development),
Zonal Education Office, Colombo

🎓 Mrs. Disna Dissanayake – Divisional Director of Education, Colombo Central Division

The session highlighted student discipline, hygiene, healthy food habits, regular attendance, academic development and co-curricular participation, while emphasizing the vital role of parents in supporting their children’s success.

A Generous Donation to Our Football Team.

We are delighted to acknowledge and sincerely thank Master Gian Goonetilleke (12 years old) and Miss Amarya Goonetilleke (7 years old) from the United Kingdom for their generous donation of four footballs to our college football team.
The footballs were handed over to our football team on 18th August 2026 by Dr. Mandhari, in the presence of the College Principal.

We deeply appreciate this thoughtful gesture and the support shown towards our young athletes. Your generosity will inspire our students to pursue their passion for football with greater enthusiasm and dedication.

We were pleased to welcome the Researchers from International Food policy Research Institute, representatives of Save the Children and Sarvodaya to our college on 6th August 2026 regarding the Mid-Day Meal Programme.
