In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Sir, W.K. Depp 🕊️
It is with deep sadness that we mourn the passing of our beloved Sir, W.K. Depp, the Founder Principal of Malabe Boys' Model School, a visionary educator whose life was dedicated to the noble cause of education. Sir founded the school and devoted himself wholeheartedly to transforming it into a place of learning, discipline, and excellence.
To us, Sir was more than a principal. He was a mentor, guide, and father figure who inspired generations of students through his wisdom, compassion, and unwavering commitment. His dream of building a quality educational institution was not merely a vision. It was a mission for which he made extraordinary personal sacrifices.
Many of us remember hearing how Sir went to great lengths to develop the infrastructure and facilities of the school during its early years, even making personal sacrifices to ensure that future generations would benefit from a better learning environment. Such dedication is a testament to the selfless character and extraordinary leadership that defined his life.
The values he instilled, the lessons he taught, and the lives he touched will remain with us forever. His legacy lives on through the thousands of students who walked through the gates of Malabe Boys' Model School and through the institution that stands today as a testament to his vision, perseverance, and sacrifice.
As Buddhists, we are reminded of the impermanent nature of life and are grateful for the immense service Sir rendered to society through education.
