WP/Jaya/Sri Yasodara Maha Vidyalaya belongs to 1C type schools and a mixed school with grade one to grade 13 . With 1000 pupils and 40 teachers school is going to a brilliant future with the present principal Mr. For A/L there are Art and commerce stream. There are many pupils who perform well in Aesthetic subjects. The name "Yasodara" is glittering all over the island for sports as well special
ly for volleyball game. The Library, Computer Laboratory, Science laboratories, and counselling section also encourage the pupils to improve their knowledge and go ahead in the world. And also there are a lot of projects undergoing for the progress of school. In 2009 one of the students got 9 As of O/L s and in the same year all A/L students got through the examination. In 2010 one of the students got 3 As for A/L examination. That is of course a landmark in the history of Sri Yasodara Maha Vidyalaya. There were more admissions to the school in the year of 2011 than 2010. 84 pupils were admitted for the grade one class and hence two parallel classes were begun for grade one. Yasodara Maha Vidyalaya is on the path of a new world through a quality education, sports and extracurricular activities day by day.
